Educators at Teddy Bear Corner benefit from working in a beautifully resourced home away from home environment with lots of outdoor space, allowing for rich and meaningful play and learning activities. Our service strongly emphasises natural play, ensuring the environments for children are filled with natural elements, retaining many of the aspects you might find in a home backyard. Our educators provide for children’s innate fascination with ordinary natural items (like sticks, stones and leaves) and recyclable/reusable objects for both free play and structured activities.

Our service is inspired by Reggio Emilia ideals and values the importance of educating our children on sustainable practices and protecting the environment for themselves and the wider community’s future. This is displayed in our everyday ‘green’ cleaning practices and our ‘loose parts play’ philosophy.
